 Silverton Estate Wine is a local boutique vineyard nestle in the Puketapu hills of Hawkes Bay. 

We believe Silverton Estate wine has been one of New Zealand’s best kept secrets. We have provided High quality grapes to some of New Zealand’s biggest wine brands. Behind the scenes we have been creating and producing medal winning wines for over 20 years.
Silverton Estate offers a selection of five premium wines which appeal to a variety of palates and compliment various food styles. Our wines are also made to be enjoyed on their own.

Silverton Estate: Syrah 2018

Tasting notes:
«Youthful and bright, the elegantly expressed bouquet shows sweet plum, cranberry, thyme, mixed spice and floral characters. The palate is juicy and beautifully rounded delivering succulent fruit flavours backed by fine texture and silky tannins. Approachable and very friendly on the palate. “It’s delightfully fruited and fragrant on the nose showing ripe strawberry, Gala apple, lemon peel and floral characters, leading to a juicy palate that’s bright and flavoursome. The wine offers fine texture and vibrant acidity, finishing long and very tasty. At it is best now until 2021”.

“It is gently fragrant on the nose showing dark plum, game, nutmeg and dried herb aromas, leading to a medium bodied palate that is nicely rounded and juicy. An approachable Bordeaux-style red with a pleasing dry finish.»
